We were given the opportunity to be let loose on a local housing estate, we spoke to hundreds of their residents to find out what sort of activities they would like to see happening at their local community center! We then delivered and put on a program of sewing and painting. Magic happened…more than creative outcomes; people spoke to each other, ended up mates, they did each other’s gardens, mums met mums and people got to share their creativity in a safe space. We had an exhibition and buffet in town to round it all up.
